Push on type fittings for Pvc pipes according to DIN 8061/62

Fitting of ductile cast iron according to DIN 8061/8062
Application for water and neutral media up to 80c maximum.

Operating pressure-16 bar(PN 16)
Fittings are made of ductile cast iron GGG 400 in accordance to EN 1563 complete with SBR or NBr push on type rubber gasket

Surface coating and protection
Externally and internally fusion bonded epoxy coating(powder coating) minimum thickness of 200um

Installation procedure
Prior to installation, all parts must be checked for proper condition, clean all debris or oil and/or grease
Sealing rings are supplied (push on joint fittings)and to be inserted on site
The sealing ring shall be a reduced in circumference by forming one or more loops towards the center of
the ring, so it can be easily inserted and seat into the sealing recess. Upon stretching the loops the compressive strain will be distributed evenly.
Make sure the socket sealing recess is clean and free from any dirt

Installation of pipes
Provide chamfered and pipe spigot and carefully paste an evenly thin layer of lubricant at spigot ends, as well as the sealing ring too
Push in the pipe end into the socket down to the marked line (whenever available).

Installation of fittings
The cast fittings have to be supported well, especially in soft ground. Before pressure testing the pipeline must be safely secured against being pushed apart at changes of direction, branches or end by means of a thrust block or restraint type fittings(whenever available)

Packing for transportation
Shimming, wrapping and packing with proper protective cover before loading into boxes/crates for land or container sea transportation shall be in accordance to manufacturer strictly packaging requirements to provide the finish good or product in good manner to the customer.
